Lucy Tovmasian, MD, is a board certified obstetrician/gynecologist providing comprehensive primary gynecologic and obstetrical care, as well as medical and surgical treatment for a wide range of abnormalities and conditions, including uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and abnormal bleeding, as well as menopause management. Dr. Tovmasian is proficient in traditional surgery along with minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopy and robotic- assisted surgery.
Dr. Tovmasian has been on staff at Holy Name Medical Center since 2011, and is a member of the American Medical Association and a board member of the Armenian American Health Professionals Organization. Dr. Tovmasian participates in an annual medical mission to Armenia where she provides ob/gyn care to patients who would not otherwise have access to these services.
After graduating from Columbia University with a bachelor of arts in biological sciences, Dr. Tovmasian earned her doctor of medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine, where she was a member of Iota Epsilon Alpha, the international medical honor society. She subsequently completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at University of Medicine and Dentistry-New Jersey Medical School where, during her training, she received the Residency Achievement Award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Dr. Tovmasian speaks fluent Armenian.
